He starved me of Sex for 5 years, then get married to 4 other women — Wife cries out

A 35-year-old woman of Nakonde, Zambia wants to call it quits with the man she has been married to for the past 16 years.

This is in a matter in which Elles Namwayi  prayed the court to dissolve her marriage to her husband, Jonathan Somukwaya, 38, due lack of conjugal rights.

According to Zambian Observer, Elles said her husband stopped having sex with her since 2017.

She revealed that he has married four other women with whom he has children, the claim Jonathan did not deny in court.

She also told the court that her husband had not been supporting the children even before he left the house to stay alone in 2018.

“I have been to the Victim Support Unit and even to this court before for support but he has refused to change. This is the reason I decided on divorce Your Honour,” she added.

In defense, Jonathan said he is a casual worker and that he earns too little to support his children. He added that he wants their marriage to go on.
The case was adjourned.
