Community celebrate as record breaking reps Halims put finishing touches to one of his projects

Celebration rocks Ankpa in Kogi State yesterday after Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Alih popularly known as Halims disclose plans to revisit and complete one of his ongoing projects. After years of false hope from the previous administration who failed to be identified with a single project in the town, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Alih (Halims), member representing Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Steel Development has come to the rescue once again as he begins the laying of asphalts on the entire Ojede-Liberia roads, assured his constituents that in less than two weeks, work will commence in earnest

He stressed further by saying: "Engineers from the Federal Ministry of Works, at the early hours of today visited the site in persons with the view of handing over the already awarded project to the contractor for onward commencement of the work. "

Halims who is known for his love for the people of his constituency and beyond has shown it countless times while in the house and sure deserves more chance

He known for sponsoring the bill to an act establishing Federal Medical Center in Ankpa, Kogi State etc

Constructions of Drainages and control of lives threatening Erosion in Ejinya Efofe/ Abakpa, the devastating state of the place before Halims came to their rescue as usual

Also His Capacity building and human development projects can never be over emphasized, he gave out numerous federal appointments and sponsored some to school and skills acquisition centers and empowerment we can’t mention

Social areas aren’t left out as well, as he donates and renovate worship centers in imane, Akunu , Ankpa etc

Also recalling that sometime in 2008, when Rep. Halims was in the Kogi State House of Assembly, representing the good people of Ankpa I State Constituency he had to facilitate the grading of Ojede roads and the construction of drainage on the either sides of all roads there, besides other unrivalled human and capital projects done as at then.

As a result of his matchless State legislative functions, the then Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ibrahim Idris nicknamed him as "Ankpa Project."

This he did actually gave birth to the modern day Ojede, in Ankpa local government area of Kogi State, a community in Ankpa Suburb I which was almost deserted by her residents, owing to the natural disaster which ravaged virtually all houses there and rendered some inhabitants homeless.

Again, here we are, having that same representative endowed with Federal might, influencing/facilitating the top notch completion of that same project done in the year 2008, that is, about twelve (12) years ago.

Speaking on behalf of the Engineers from the Federal Ministry of Works, Engineer Tosin assured Rep. Halims of the speedy completion of the project as soon as it kicks start while using the occasion to hand over the awarded and ready to commence project to Engineer Charles, the contractor's representative.
